Prostate gland MRT
Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer among men. Multiparametric imaging of the prostate gland makes it possible to detect prostate cancer early or rule it out with a high degree of certainty, or to evaluate the aggressiveness of a tumour. It is currently the most precise method to detect possible changes. Through the uniform PI-RADS diagnostic system, an optimal exchange of results between radiology and urology is ensured. Before the examination, you will be administered an intravenous, non-ionic, iodine-containing X-ray contrast medium. It increases the relevance of the examination and ensures diagnosis. Thanks to the latest technology, it is possible for us to significantly reduce the quantity of contrast medium administered. Please take note of our contrast medium information sheets.
