Magnetic resonance tomography
Magnetic resonance tomography is a fast and harmless diagnostic method that involves no radiation. It provides exact information on pathological changes and has also proved to be highly suitable in preventative medicine.

Magnetic resonance enterography (small intestine diagnostics)

Magnetic resonance enterography enables precise and comprehensive imaging of the small intestine. It is the modern alternative to an X-ray examination, or a CT or MRT enteroclysis (a probe is inserted through the nose into the duodenum), which is unpleasant for the patient. MR enterography provides exact imaging of inflammations of the intestinal wall. In particular, for patients with Crohn's disease, who have to undergo repeated examinations, MR enterography is a completely harmless method without X-ray exposure. Tumours can also be precisely diagnosed using this examination. Before the examination, you will be administered an intravenous, non-ionic, iodine-containing X-ray contrast medium. It increases the relevance of the examination and ensures diagnosis. Thanks to the latest technology, it is possible for us to significantly reduce the quantity of contrast medium administered. Please take note of our contrast medium information sheets.
